BRANSON PRINTWORKS / PROJECT PLANNING

Get your artwork ready for print.

Bring the right files, dimensions and details so your project can move smoothly into proofing.

Choose the product before the template.

A business card, wall mural and retractable display need different layouts. Confirm the finished size, sides, material and hardware first, then request the matching artwork template. Keep its trim, bleed and safe-area instructions with the file; one template will not fit every product.

Send the best original file you have.

For photographs, send the original image rather than a screenshot or a copy saved from social media. For logos and illustrations, send the original vector artwork when available. Include the intended print dimensions so we can review whether the artwork is suitable at that size. Enlarging a small file does not restore missing detail.

Keep important details in view.

Position names, logos, faces and contact details away from trim lines, folds and hardware. For murals, show us where doors, windows and furniture interrupt the image. For a stand, use the visible graphic area in its template so the base does not hide your message.

Review the proof as a final checkpoint.

Check wording, spelling, phone numbers, web addresses, dates, dimensions, crop, sides and quantity. Test every QR code with a phone. Review each version of a multi-design order. If color is especially important, request a physical sample or strike-off; a screen preview cannot show the exact appearance of ink on the chosen surface.
